This is the only paper towel I buy. I like them, but they’re giving less and less with each order. They seem to be no more now than what the regular roll used to be. I wish that they would keep the same size and increase the price instead. I read on another review that they’ve gone from 148 sheets before to 117 now. That’s not exactly a stealth move; I definitely noticed, and take away a star because of it

We buy this on Amazon S&S but lately, we noticed that whenever we’re opening a new roll and try to tear it off or even from the under-mounted holder, the sheets seem to rip not along the perforated line but somewhere in between where we have to tear off a 1/4 or so piece left behind. It started to happen about a month ago so not sure if it’s a quality control issue but I hope this doesn’t keep happening, considering the price.
Otherwise, we love Bounty for the sheer thickness and use it in our kitchen, basement, cleaning, and in my workshop as well.

Everything costs more these days. Cheaper paper towels actually end up costing more though, imo. If they can’t lower the cost, I wish they would add another preferation to split one towel into two squares.

The towels are fine but the new sizing is screwy The Quick-size is supposed to be 5.7″ wide but I measured it at 6 .5″. Did I get a bad batch? I find myself tearing them in half all the time just like the full-sized towels, which obviously negates the convenience. When the Bounty people were questioned on Amazon they claimed a .2″ difference between the quick-size and the select-a-size, which wouldn’t make any sense if it was true. Wish someone would straighten this out.

The box of Bounty arrived without being opened. However, when I opened the box, there were 15 double wrapped rolls and one single roll without wrapping. I do not know what happened? Just want to let you know.

I have stayed with Bounty select a size but haven’t done much comparison. Did try a few others that were softer but not as thick or absorbent. Think I could do better in price and don’t really need such high absorbency, although something very thin wouldn’t work. Depends on use. Probably best to have more than one, a less expensive version that is less absorbent and softer.

You can’t beat the price. Much lower than in the grocery stores. And Bounty is the best paper towel. However, there’s usually at least one pack out of the eight that’s unsealed on one end. Since the top and bottom of the Bounty shipping box has a gap of an inch or two, that means those paper towels often wind up sitting on the ground. I certainly wouldn’t use them on clean hands. So you’re not really getting eight packs for this price.

During the pandemic I was forced to try other brands as I had to by what was available on the shelves or online at the time. I have tried many other popular brands, but I have to come back to bounty. This paper towel is the most absorbent of any that I have ever tried and I love the select-a-size rolls. With them I don’t waste as many sheets that I have to with the other brands.
Note: The Quick Size has slightly smaller sheets at 11 x 5.7 inches per sheet than Select a Size version rolls that are 11 x 5.9 inches.

I really like the thick absorbance quality. I also love the fact that I didn’t have to leave the house to buy them. I would have given 5stars if Amazon delivery person wouldn’t have delivered it to my next door neighbor; thank God that there are still decent people out there. My neighbor was nice enough to ask if it was mine. I did report the incident to Amazon.

I’ve been using Bounty Select-A-Size for years. This Quick-Size version has the same great thickness and absorbency as the Select-A-Size, but it’s slightly shorter, perhaps by 1/4 inch. I probably wouldn’t even notice it 99% of the time, but I imagine the tiny difference could matter when cleaning up really big spills. Also, the size difference is clear on my paper towel holder. The Select-A-Size rolls fit perfectly; the Quick-Size rolls wobble a bit because they’re too short to reach the top. Bounty is still the best brand to use, but I hope the Select-A-Size version comes back soon.

Product is great, shipping was strange. Not a big thing but product doesn’t match picture. You absolutely get the same paper rolls & roll count, but they come in 8 double roll packages in a Bounty shipping box. The 2 toll packs say “2 rolls = 5 rolls” with 143 sheets per roll, although they are select-a-size, which are half the size of full-size sheets. I didn’t unravel one to count if 143 selecta-size or full size, but guessing 143 select-a-size.
USPS shipping from a Phoenix Amazon warehouse to my Phoenix home took 8 days – USPS shipped it from Phoenix, to California, to Kentucky, to Ohio, to Phoenix.

In Proctor & Gamble’s seemingly never-ending quest to baffle the consumer about the sizes of BOUNTY paper towel packages, these “5=2” packages used to be called HUGE (sometimes MEGA), then the name changed to DOUBLES PLUS, and now it’s changed again to FAMILY QUICK SIZE. P&G thinks we need more than a dozen different sizes of BOUNTY paper towel roll sizes and package sizes and my cynical guess is that confusing the consumer ultimately results in higher profit for them. It’s a chore knowing which is the best value because they packages are all over the place… 2=5, 12=26, 6=12, 12=22, 12=30, 6=8, and on and on and on. Figuring out the price by square feet is a chore (look at how it’s listed on the front). BOUNTY is, of course, the best paper towel made, but I’m taking off one of the 5 stars becauase they deliberately confuse us consumers with roll and package sizes and names.
